Open Hole Flute Tool
This compact 2-in-1 tool will streamline your open hole flute padding. It tackles two common problems that occur during the padding process: bushings (or grommets) getting spread, and pad cup chimneys getting crushed in. Once these things are no longer round and true, it makes the process of shimming and padding more difficult and increasingly inconsistent. Our Open Hole Flute Tool is a unique concept that was proudly designed, tested, and manufactured in Wilmington, NC, and made from stainless steel and Delrin. Click here to learn more and order today!
MusicMedic Full-Size Leak Tester Machine
Because the MusicMedic Leak Tester is so sensitive, it can be used after the leak light and feeler gauge as a secondary leak tester. It is also an excellent demonstration tool for your customers. Using the Leak Tester, you can quickly test an entire flute before doing leak work, then test it again after the work is complete. It is also possible to use the Leak Tester to test for leaks in individual pads on flute, wooden instrument bodies, brass tubing or any part of any instrument that can be sealed on both ends. Small Post Fitting Pliers
Our Small Post Fitting Pliers are designed to work with smaller woodwind instruments. These pliers will allow you to swedge posts on flute, oboe and clarinet, as well as saxophone side keys where the Large Post Fitting Pliers don’t reach. Use these pliers on any instrument post where clearance is an issue. This tool features a radiused anvil that has exactly the right curve to safely and accurately shrink the opening in the post for a tighter fitting rod. The jaws have also been designed to protect the radius-ed anvil from accidental crushing. The precision milled surface of the opposite jaw lets you work on the post without marring it, and the textured handle allows for a safe and comfortable grip. Parallel Spring Removing Pliers
Our Parallel Broken Spring Removing Pliers make the job of removing the broken spring fast and simple. The jaws of the pliers have two set screws, allowing you to change the distance of the pointed insert from the tip of the jaws, close for clarinets and flutes, and further away for saxophones. The narrow jaws of the pliers allow you to get into tight spots, between posts, under some keys, and even between springs in opposing directions on a single post. Parallel pressure is applied directly on the broken spring, making slips less likely. The slotted jaw allows you to approach the spring from the top of the post or the side. Our Parallel Broken Spring Removing Pliers are made from stainless steel in-house at our facility in Wilmington, NC. Click here to learn more and order today!
