Day one of Expo Music in Brazil was a great day! I got to see some of my old friends like James Carter and Jody Espina, aka Jody Jazz. It’s funny how some of us Americans meet everywhere around the world but seldom in America!

What’s cool is how many new people I met that knew who we are and what our company is about. So many people came to the booth telling me that they already order from us. It’s like I have a family here I’m just getting to know.

I didn’t get a chance to get around much but I did get to check out the Freesax booth and pick up a new neck strap and ligature. I can’t wait to get home to try these out!

Day two at Expo Music was a blast! I got a good idea of the work that’s happening here in Brazil and met some outstanding people and technicians.

A bunch of us went out for some tasty German beer and libations after the show. I was fortunate enough to visit the Yamaha atelier in São Paulo, workplace of my new friend Araken Busto. What a nice place. I made a video of the place so you can see it. The music here in São Paulo is simply amazing… I just never knew.

I’m really going to miss this place. What a beautiful country full of the kindest people! I’m stoked that I get to come back in November! Thank you Brazil for being so cool.
