Thomas purchased this horn on ebay and sent it directly to us for an Uberhaul. The silver plating is in excellent condition and mechanically this is one of the better tranny altos we have seen.
We replaced the factory half-round G# touch with a “Buescher” tabbed G#.
All silver plated!
New Pearls:
Making sure the forked Eb is nice and snug.
The new pearls make this horn feel like new! They look pretty awesome, too.
The revised left hand table is all set-up and much easier to get around.
Those white RooPads look nice against this Vintage silver.
Had a fun time with Thomas in the shop, making final adjustments. According to him, this Alto “screams now”.
