We’re doing a super-cool modification on Sean’s Alto. We’re rebuilding the entire left hand table to function as a newer Aristocrat. The old C# (left) will not function well with the added tabbed G#, so we’re replacing it with the newer style C# (like the one on the right).
The new “Buescher” G# touch installed.
We’re adding a brace to the bottom of this neck for more durability.
And with a little spot-plating you never know it wasn’t original.

We had to move the C# and G# posts to accommodate the new C# with the longer arm.
Josh added a new post head for the low C# and you can also see the new post and C# pad cup.
These keys cleaned up nicely with help from the UltraSonic.
On of the final steps at the materials bench is to seal the body bands with epoxy.
RooPads are going in today! As you can see, we used the existing Buescher snap-in resonators.
