Jim’s Buescher Aristocrat Alto (2707XX)

Jim purchased this alto from us while it was getting getting Uberhauled. Here are some pictures along the way.

The body is straight and the guards have been replaced.

The original pearl holders were worn down, so we replaced them.

Lots of new key contacts! Gotta love them!

We decided to make the Low C guard taller on all of our Aristocrat Altos. No one likes a flat D.

Revamped guard installed. It’s taller and not connected to the tone hole.

Degreasing one of the keys after buffing.

Last minute key fitting before the plating process continues.

The keys have received their final polish and are ready to be packed up and sent away to the plater.
