MusicMedic Welcomes Leroy Hadding as General Manager

Welcome Leroy!

We’d like to give a hearty welcome to our new general manager, Leroy Hadding.  Leroy joins us all the way from southern California and we already love his inspiration and dedication to making MusicMedic better than ever.

Prior to joining us, Leroy spent 21 years as a repair technician and educator.  Though he has experience repairing all wind instruments (He had fun doing a set-up for former President Bill Clinton), he’s a clarinet and double reed guru, and he’s looking forward to augmenting our lines of tools and pads for those instruments in particular.  Leroy’s passion for education has been with him for quite some time, as he received his degree in Music Education at CSU, Fresno.  Subsequently, he’s taught repair courses and has given lectures and clinics on a variety of subjects.

Leroy is excited to join the MusicMedic team as general manager because he believes that his background and experience will enable him to work seamlessly with many facets of MusicMedic and the Pad Company.  Behind the scenes, he’ll be running the daily operations, coordinating all of the departments, and ensuring processes run smoothly.  His goal is to actively help technicians around the world so they have what they need, when they need it.
Fixing anything and everything is in Leroy’s blood: he grew up fixing cars and doing home repairs with his dad, and combined this talent with his passion for music in the instrument repair field.  Because he has a vast understanding of how things work and how to make them work better, he approaches his new position with the curiosity and tenacity that is necessary for a company which strives to constantly evolve and improve.
When he’s not repairing, managing, or playing clarinet, Leroy is a foodie and loves to cook.  He and his wife are enjoying their new home in North Carolina, and Leroy has been acquainting himself with some of the fine local and regional brews.

Our wonderful and talented General Manager of the past 5+ years, Jeff Massa, is working with Leroy to get him up to speed and familiar with the company before he transitions into  Machine Sciences, concentrating on adaptive machine learning. Awesome!
